Basically I think they shafted him and it would've meant he'd miss out on a testamonial as not quite there 10 years, and there was massive backlash and bad PR, so the chairman tied himself in knots on toalksport interview backtracking.Originally posted by Factamondo View PostComment

Not forced him out, they wouldn't renew or extend his contract and as a result he came up ab few months short of typical 10 years, hence talk he would be drprived of a testimonial.
Personally if he isn't good enough he shouldn't get a contract imo, so agree with the stance, but they handled it wrongly and could've still granted a farewell testimonial anyway i believe.Comment
