  • QPR in Europe

Facts mentioned in another thread Bowles mesmerising Europe so got me thinking who on the board has followed us away abroad??

Anyone do any of the UEFA cup games?? any tales to share??

If we did make it into Europe again I would hopefully be all over it

"The kids missed everything from Queens Park Rangers to Conkers".

London Pride has been handed down to us.
London Pride is a flower that's free.
London Pride means our own dear town to us,
And our pride it for ever will be.

Did you spend longer out there then just the footie???

Stories I have heard sound like it was a right old good time out there all in all. Will regret not making the effort for that tour until the day I die; was even given the green light by the missus at the time but never got my a rse in gear

Cologne away by coach , Athens by plane [cheap flight relative worked for Airways] lost both by 3 goals 4-1 and 3-0
Football played the Charlie Ferris way

Cologne over 1,000 but a few were serving squaddies looking for a ruck with the locals , Athens not very many 100+

Friendly vs Falkirk + Swansea & Cardiff away are as exotic as my QPR trips have gotten. Unless Wigan is abroad? I was never very good at Geography. Had a right M.ILF as a teacher (Miss Waddington) and used to spend my lessons having grown up thoughts about her.

went to Cologne by coach, parked up by the cathedral in the only part the RAF missed, good Rangers turnout
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
