  • Redknapp Interview at 11 am

Just coming from the Official QPR twitter page: Reknapp Exclusive: @QPRPlayer subscribers can watch an exclusive video interview around 11 am.

I think even non-subscribers can watch it.

Looking forward to the new season, getting a good pre-season in is important.
Depending on getting players in and out will decide how we'll do.
Irons in the fire on a number of positions but there is competition for players we're after.

Pretty standard interview, nothing of any real interest. Looking for several positions, including a striker. Reaffirmed at the end that he's committed to promotion this season and that they're trying to put all the pieces in place in order to achieve that at the moment.

                1. Looking at training somewhere else
                2. Striker is a must
                3. Ground will be key next season - Good pitch now - Able to play football

Yes last season players slipped many times at Loftus Road!

                      Such a cop out.

If the pitch was that bad, it would've worked in our favour as we'd be used to it. The fact other teams came, played on it once and mostly got results against us kind of dispels the myth.

On the contrary. The fact our players knew how bad it was may have played on their minds whereas teams visiting dont have that problem of playing on it every week.

What a lame excuse regards the pitch! How come we played just as bad on others clubs pitches. Cop out!

Being far too kind there. We would've known what to expect and worked out how to play on it. Others would've had a baptism of fire. Similar benefits to when we had the astro.

What it is, is basically another redknapp excuse.
