  • The Jam and a QPR fan

Anyone remember this video by the Jam? It's called 'when you're young' and was recorded in 1979. Was one of my favourite songs at the time and the filming was done in Queens Park with some in Kilburn High Road. Older fans from the area will remember the escalator. Anyone know who the QPR fan might be?

Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

THE greatest band ever... full of integrity and passion...

It's also a very rare relaxed looking video of The Jam.

        Great to see it again.

The lyrics on some of the early Jam stuff are mind blowing.

Puts most of todays bands to shame

Hehehe apparently not. Was lucky enough to see the Jam a couple of times. A real powerhouse of a band live.

Shame the lead singer was the usual pseudo chelsea Surrey dwelling rapist. Stanley road was good though.
