I don't agree Adel took us up single handed, because if he did how come he never single handedly got us to the playoffs on the occasions he was with us before Warnock?
The team needed Adel and Adel needs the team. To say he did it single handedly is taking away the hardwork that Derry (who did AT's running and tackling) put in, to Gorkks,Connolly,Paddy,Hill & Walker who kept so many clean sheets.Mackie more than played his part up to the injury ....last min equaliser at Pride Park, great couple of goals at Ipswich, and played fullback against someone.
We had a team back then, they all knew what was expected of them, and the lack of it, was why we got relegated from the premier league

    And that^^

Fact is if a player is consistently acting unprofessional (if reports are true), his attitude will affect the team and club in a negative way in the long run. Why would we want to keep someone like that? Because he has potential to deliver? 2 seasons, 3 different managers and still no end product. Perhaps it will come but if he is still acting unprofessional, he needs to go asap.

Fans have been bickering about how some of our players have been unprofessional most of the season. While Bosingwa has done it once, how many times has Taarabt?

Fact is we need to build a team, a team that are able to stay in the EPL. Perhaps we won't go up straight away but as long as we are able to stay it's all good. Should we keep Taarabt just so he can get us up fast? IMO no. Better to give other players a chance and build a core of players for many years to come.

He's not as bad (attitude wise) as he was 2/3 seasons ago. Still pulls the occasional strop but not that often. I don't think for one minute he caused the others to have **** attitudes lol. Anyway, this was when Warnock was in charge, apparently WARNOCK only used to turn up to trainings on thursdays while we were in the Prem so he's one to talk! Saw somewhere that Hughes and his staff managed Adel quite well and he never played up while they were in charge. Not sure about Harry though, their history and all that.

I have read all you have had to say about AT attitude. I do agree with most that he have an attitude problem. Others suggested that if he have the fighting spirit and the attitude of Mackie, then he will be accepted to continue playing for QPR. However I have one question......do any of you imagine that the skills of Adel combined with Mackie's attitude will see him play for us? I mean.....he is with us because he have an attitude problem. If he is that perfect and with the skills he's got, he will be taken from us like a shot! Skills that Adel's have are rare, however, I do believe that its time to move on and stop planning on a one man team.

Said several times previously that a book would come out that would show Tarrabt for what he is, there will be more as other players explain how they perceive him. Can't believe there are still people who defend him and see him as this world beater, he is even compared with Messi and Ronaldo in this thread !!!

adel is a maverick, a throw back to the good old days of football. All i know is i have stood up and cheered more of his skills, goals and touches at LR than any other player in my 35 years of supporting us. Yes he is unprofessional , if he wasnt he would be playing for madrid or barcelona

I've been a fan for 40 years and if your statement above is the truth then you cant have been to many games. There have been so many better and more entaintaining players than Tarrabt in that time. Unless of course a pointless step over in the middle of the pitch followed by a scuffed shot that barely reaches the opposition goal excites you! Or maybe one of the thousand wasted corners or maybe when he fails to even jump to challenge for a ball in the air.

I really dont understand all them threads over one player after all, one player has never made a team.

Adel is just like Cantona, didn't really mature until he found the right club, though he was still a nutter.

Cantona did it at the top level for different clubs. Adel is a talented show pony. He's got loads of tricks but no football brain, oh and no pace.

                              This!

He's a wasted talent and his attitude (and the fact he has been allowed to get away with it for so long) epitomises everything that is wrong with our club. The sooner we are rid of him the better in my opinion!

Cant believe after the last 2 season people wana see players like Adel with their attitude strutting their stuff again at Loftus road.
Show me a player with the talent of taraabt and the proffesionalism of Mackie. Thats what we need but it aint gona happen.

I didnt say they wouldnt make it to the top.. I said they wouldnt become the best player they can be?

You all seem to be missing the point. Read the book - Then come and tell me you want players with Adel's attitude in the team next season after the 2 season we've just had.

Dont just pick two or three lines outa what im saying. Look at the bigger picture.
So you are telling me that you would rather be stoke than be a quality team who has talent and who, when we go to matches we don't get bored to death watching them. I'm sorry but for me Taarabt will always be welcome here as he is one of the very few players in the country who can control a match and pull off all the skills and beautiful through balls to strikers. I don't think many people will pay to watch a team of grafters with little talent, I would rather pay money to watch a talented player control the match with moments of brilliance, even if it is only occasional. They don't call it the beautiful game for nothing
