If you dont want players that work hard then you honestly got what you wished for in the last 2 seasons.
Dont moan about us having no heart in our team and then say Mackie is dog s***
But point is you need a blend of hard working grafters and finesse, and we had that blend perfect the year we came up, with Adel providing a vast majority of that finesse. You couldnt have a team fo Adels, nor a team of Mackies. You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

No - because I'm not good enough (unless you're asking me after a few shandies then I'll be teling you otherwise).

Personally couldn't give a stuff what adel does off the pitch, as long as he turns up on the field. The season Warnock refers to, the season we won the title, adel almost single handedly took us to the big time. That's good enough for me. Keep him. We know what he can do in the championship, if he acts the same way off the pitch and still turns it on on match days, it's all good.Top Scorers 2018/2019

After four pages im diving in and I am in support of the West London is Rs (For the record I have not read the book)
Wont labour the point as I have had my say many times before but although there is not doubting Adels ability he lacks every other quality which is needed to be a top footballer in particular attitude, effort, bottle and probably most importantly professionalism. He's as guilty as the likes of Granero, Bosingwa etc of letting OUR club down.
He has alot of credit in the bank with fans because of one seasons efforts, for me personally he is out of credit as although grateful for what he done in our promotion season he has not done an awful lot since then and even his fans I am sure will hold there hands up to that.
Its alright fans coming on in this thread throwing up the Fulham as an example of a game he won but that is ONE game he contributed too out of 38 or 76 over two seasons, not even close to being good enough given the ability he has and how he is hero worshipped.
Yes football is about entertainment but at the end of the day its about winning that's the be all and end all if you get entertained as well as winning its a bonus. For me the last two seasons we have not been winning nor have I in the main be entertained by Adel

I will add this and it's been said a million times on here before...(ok not a million as we don't have that many posts yet!!).. we need a mix.
I don't agree Adel took us up single handed, because if he did how come he never single handedly got us to the playoffs on the occasions he was with us before Warnock?
The team needed Adel and Adel needs the team. To say he did it single handedly is taking away the hardwork that Derry (who did AT's running and tackling) put in, to Gorkks,Connolly,Paddy,Hill & Walker who kept so many clean sheets.Mackie more than played his part up to the injury ....last min equaliser at Pride Park, great couple of goals at Ipswich, and played fullback against someone.
We had a team back then, they all knew what was expected of them, and the lack of it, was why we got relegated from the premier league
