Yea, it's a lot of money but if you've got a lot you might aswell splash it out. I've always rated him, intelligent football player who both can score and create space for other players. Will be a fantastic recruitment for the hammers.

That is a very good point. I think they did a very good deal (for them and not the taxpayer) on the stadium.

Might do them some good in the short term but not in the long term. Selling a clubs most valuable asset (the stadium) in favour of a short term cash injection and then renting a stadium off the council cannot be a good business move!

Fair play to West Ham, wish we had done some of the business they did last season. They had one target which was to stay up and did it well, having some absolutely blinding wins along the way.

Carrol might be a complete donkey or go on and bang in 20 goals for them, but we're in no position to comment on how other teams spend their money when you consider the absolute **** we have bought year after year after year.
