He'll be gone in no time at all. So will most of our other big name flops.

I was surprised so many on here found it hard to believe that we would get rid of them, but we absolutely will.

your counting chickens there. Not like even half of em have gone, or even a quarter, or even one of the flops have been sold that Ive heard about.

Here are some of the well paid first teamers commonly referred to as flops on here - Park, Mbia, Granero, Bosingwa, Cesar, Hoilett, Diakite, Traore, Adel - they are all still on the books last I heard.

I really despair with some on here, do you think clubs pay large sums for poor players, as someone above touched upon good player just wrong club and set up at the time. He will go on to have a good career and its no surprise lots of clubs are interested.

dont despair ,you can always count on yourself to give you a good pat on the back and tell you how right you are

Granero showed glimpses of what he is capable of. I tend to agree wrong player, wrong club, wrong time.
Not quite the same thing, but Forlan and Man Utd springs to mind as an example of this scenario.

                            This.

Same old debate had numeorus times over, but he clearly isn't a "$hit player" as some make out. To reel off old stats again, he played 67 La Liga games in 3 seasons for Real Madrid before we signed him - now nobody can tell me that Mourinho would have even considered his name for the squad list given the calibre of players at his disposal if he wasn't a tiny bit good.

Just look at the whole host of players we have signed with proven track records in the game that have seemingly become $hit overnight since joining us - the fact is WE are the common denominator. I have no doubts whatsoever that plenty of players that have flopped here will go onto be great successes at other clubs -Granero being one of them.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Oh dear, oh dear.... do you actually have apply logic before spouting off?

Please tell me this, how is he a Getafe reject when he did well enough for Real Madrid to act on a buy back option to re-sign him..... after which he went on to play loads of times for Real Madrid, during a period they managed to win a league title against a Barca side many of which claim to be the best club side of all time.

To put this into perspective, he played more games for Real Madrid each season for the previous 3 years, than he did for us last season..... make sense out of that if you will if he's such a bad player!
