          What a great application.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

The QPR fan calendar links provided on http://www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/19...ar-871677.aspx don't appear to be working for me.

When I click either link on the page it just opens a blank screen with "about:blank" in the address bar.

Then when I try opening it in a new tab the URL it opens is "webcal://www.google.com/calendar/ical/h43d6qm52oduqhbsaeg9fkedc8%40group.calendar.google .com/public/basic.ics" which also produces just a blank page. It makes no difference which of any 4 browsers I use.

The problem seems to be that the URL the club have given starts with "webcal:" which none of the browsers recognise.

Seems I'm not the only one having this issue either.

Any techies who can assist would be most appreciated.

It may be a firewall issue. I've been in touch with the club's marketing dept who set up the program and have offered the following fix. I've yet to try it out yet so don't know if it works. Anyone please post back here if they have any joy with this:

"We have heard from a few fans that the firewall on their computer is blocking the webcal link.

We’re just about to launch an update on our website for fans this happens to. Please can you have a go with the following instructions and let me know if it helps?

                        Thanks,

                        Jon:
