      From Newcastle forum

The big roadblock with Remy moving forward is the 26-year old's rape charge that comes to trial soon. That will be a bit of a burden for the Magpies to take on, even if he is found innocent of the charges.

I reckon we have a chance ...a good chance of hanging onto Remy, can't see there being much interest in England...............Now watch 10 clubs get linked with him!

I think if a person is granted bail, their employers often has to vouch for them. If this is the case with Remy, then he won't be going anywhere.

I personally think remy will start the season at hq and I can't see him being the kind of player not to put in a shift regardless of division . Besides its not gonna kill him he ears ****** good money . Can see him getting snapped up in jan though providing he doesn't get found guilty . Could work out beneficial for the club and that's all I really care about

How long has he been poised to sign? and when does 'poised' change over to 'considering his options'?

He flew out at 1 pm today (says so himself) so no reason why he didn't leave via LR.
