  • Newcastle Game....

Ok this has probably been posted before... but....

Im sorting my hotels and all that now.

Cheapest flight I found was BA £90.

All I wanna know is, how far is the stadium from the main centre where all the nightlife is (I want to go clubbing after) and how far is that from the Airport.

Hopefully one of you will know!

    Cheers in advance x

Im booking my plane ticket next week.

My mate looked at prices and the cheapest he could find was BA and was £90 like you said, also BA is free booze so thumbs up there!!!...

Been told by another mate who went up with reading a few weeks back the grounds about a £15 taxi journey from the airport.
Cant believe it, ive been PWOPER MUGGED ORF...

You can take the Metro from the Airport right into the town centre. There is a station called St. James right close to the ground.

Also, for future reference when we get to play there again, the Metro runs all the way down to Sunderland and there is a stop for the Stadium of Light.

Free booze = can of beer, not as much as you can drink during the flight!

Metro = £2.90 to St. James one way if I recall

yeah well thats what i said to my mate, but he informed me its 45 min flight, so he managed to get in 2 beers and 2 gins. Which isnt bad for free.

Metro is good value though, i'll be making use of that.

Yes, it's a 45 min flight but between take-off and landing there is only about 20 minutes for the crew to serve everyone on the flight. The rest of the time seat belts are on and nobody can be served.

I used to travel up to Newcastle every month so I remember the limitations very well.....!

Are 2 Beers and 2 Gins a bit much for a flight at 7am?
