My overriding memory of him was traveling to Leeds away crammed in the back of an old Vauxhall Cavalier with me old man, brother & our friends that were Leeds fans. Getting there, going 1 up and then losing 6-1 with Deane scoring 4. He was about 38 n all I think
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Do Norwegian players need a working permit to play in the U.K. since Norway is not in the EU?

No I dont think so, JaneMelanie. We are a part of what they call the EØS-deal. It functions as a EU-light.

Hehehe:pleasantsuprise:. Ouch He makes an impressive sight, that´s for sure. He is doing it quite OK as a coach here in Norway actually.
And he recommends english scouts to have a look at our players...

In the last few years I've noticed a fair few young Norweigan players really stand out. Josh King at Blackburn (ex-United), Magnus Eikrem at Molde (ex-United) and a CB called Hovland also at Molde, some quality players. Won't be long before they brought over here and ruined.

One of the best is currently a back-up CB at Southampton; Vegard Forren.

Yes,but now we have a decent generation of young playes who is good with the ball at their feet.
Stefan Johansen young midfielder is tracked by Roberto Martinez.
If you have a link follow the final in the U-21 tomorrow between Spain and Norway. Spain are huge favourites though.
