Very very good piece. You can see from the contempt that Kevin Gallen was treated with last summer that we're not a club that cares for highly regarded former players. Which is inexcusable in all honesty. Look at how good a media friendly and much liked Bircham is as a link from inside the club to the average everyday fans, something that is virtually non-existent through the rest of the club.

My realisation is that the club I now support is not the club that i first started supporting.

We should be doing everything we possibly can to get intelligent and talented QPR people like Ainsworth,Gallen, Clarke Carlisle, Les Ferdinand and Richard Langley involved with the club, otherwise how else are young players going to know how special it is to wear the shirt under the floodlights midweek? It would be such a quick win and seems so obvious, but is just another sign that we don't have 'football people' in charge.

Get some QPR fans in the media team at least. They try their best and have the good interests at heart, but most of their interaction just feels fake, false with a PR undertone to it. Just feel like they don't really 'get' QPR.
