Yes he is doing such a brilliant job, that attendances are down & ST sales are down too.
He may have been involved in bringing in the new sponsorship deals, but he hasn;t exactly done a lot about getting in adverstising around the perimeter boards - all the ads are from the club's sponsors - with not a single advert from any national or local businesses.
I was hoping that the C-Club would be expanded into the Loft. As the facilities up there are on a similar standard and are ideal for that matchday experience. The new food kiosks are fantastic for those who don't mind missing the actual football, just not so good if you actually want to watch the match, as the 'sorry we have run out' is getting a bit repetative.
I had a chat with him about his vision I quite liked the idea of expanding the executive area in SA road when we reach the Premier League
Oh right, so that even less regular SA Rd ST holders & other regulars can afford to sit in there. That's right they can sit in the overpriced 'appalling view' bronze seats.
The last time I sat in one of these, I spent the majority of the game trying to get a view through the fence separating the Loft from the SA Rd stand and another time the Ellerslie Rd stand. I could only get a clear view when the play was around the penalty area towards the Loft.
I guess part of his vision is to see the low earning QPR fans driven out of supporting the club and being replaced by well off professionals, business people and celebrities, who don't really give two hoots about QPR.
Could be wrong here. But i have a funny feeling, funky is trying his best to compare Mr Russell and Mr Paladini, and the stick one gets over the other, when things go wrong.
i agree with funky...ALI RUSSELL SHOULD BE KNIGHTED
what a nice guy and so popular with qpr fans, the pulse of the club mr russell...
we really needed those screens, the new badge and £10k seats...which are empty
as are exec boxes
the new summer catalogue went out in autumn, another classic
losing the members bar means over crowded unsafe concourse in SAR
what is our global ambassador doing these days? not a mention on offy site

But what about all the fans that are happy to pay more for season tickets.
Just because some people have a good job or happen to be in the public eye should they not be allowed to spend a bit more supporting the club that they love dearly.
It's people like you that are driving some of our loyal fans like Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Tamara Beckwith away.
I concur with Ali's vision of the future and if that means upsetting a few thousand of our fans in SA Road so be it.
If they really love the club they will find the £1750 for a seaon ticket next year.

Today I got an e-mail from the club saying get your back to school stuff, the kids went back today. Plus it was personalised for my son who is 21 and no mention for my son who is an under 8 season ticket holder.

I think it's quite refreshing in this day and age that the club are promoting there adult re education and training.

I noticed that last year which is why i up graded to Platinum nice bar, air con, fre food and waitress service loads space the only down side is getting past some of the people on the concourse.
Anyway Ali was kind enough to place beer vendors in SA Road to help some of our fans.
To be honest I dont know what all the fuss is about I got to Rangers for the football not the beer.
