I see the same points on here recently but if the club adopted these new rules it would just make Redknapp's difficult job into an impossible one and helps the flops stick around for another season too. Why would anyone want that.

Incentive based contracts where players actually have to earn their money? What a TERRIBLE idea!
I think people are being too quick to dismiss this. The idea is that the upside for the player would be greater than a "normal" contract. For players who are healthy and committed, this would be an incentive, not a dis-incentive. For freeloading has-beens, I agree, they wouldn't be interested.'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf.
