A team of kids won't get you anywhere in the Championship. You need a blend of experienced grafters & a touch of class / flair to succeed in that division. Yes, it would be nice to get a few younger players on board, but I think some seem to focus on this need for kids way too much.Originally posted by ollyhoops View Post

Regardless of age, I, personally, think the emphasis should be on looking for players commited to the cause and not players simply looking for a pay cheque.You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.Comment

WHoever we get, we MUST look to having a squad that IF we get promoted can hol dits own in the PL, unlike the one we had last time! Unfortunately the two 'squads' seem so different I dont know how we do it!!2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!
2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....
2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....
2015/2016, average at best.....
2016/2017, same old, same old....
2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!
