Host Of Clubs After Former England Striker
According to rumours from social media sites Twitter and Facebook there are a host of clubs believed to be interested in signing former West Ham United striker Carlton Cole. Leicester City, Nottingham Forest, Leeds United, Reading, QPR, Stoke City, Hull City and Southampton are all said to be interested in the former England international.
Leicester City, Nottingham Forest, Leeds United, Reading, QPR, Stoke City, Hull City and Southampton are also joined by MLS outfits LA Galaxy, Houston Dynamo, DC United and San Jose Earthquakes in the clubs said to be interested in the free agent.
Cole is however expected to demand large wages, which could price many clubs, especially those outside of the top flight, out of the running, especially with the new Financial Fair Play rulings.
It has been speculated that Cole may have a preference to stay in London following his release from West Ham United, placing Reading and QPR in the driving seat.
