"All I want the owners of the club to do is back my judgment.
I do not want to spend all their money either. I don’t have to.
But the one thing I am asking for is to be given the authority to make the decisions about which players we go for."

    Back him and he stays....

"I think last season showed that just chucking money at the team is by no means a guarantee of success.
But I am still hungry, as I hope the players who stay with me are and those who join me at the club will be.
    There’s no point otherwise"

How many meeting have they had since the season ended?

These are things that would have been discussed and wouldn't be coming out in the media as it is... something not quite right.

This. Diplomacy by megaphone. There's no need for this to be done in public. It will all end in tears. Ours..... A fu@king disaster.

This whole saga between harry and the board & the club is fast becoming a soap opera. Is this all a stupid PR stunt to keep the club, TF and HR in the spotlight?

Its ridiculous that a manager can hold a club to ransom and even more ridiculous that TF & co are letting him. Both harry and tony are media wh0res and it wouldn't surprise me that a lot of this rubbish is not being hushed because its doing them both a favour with the amount of attention they are getting.

Big decision now for board do they trust Harry 100% after having there fingers burned previously. If they trust him then they will back him in the market (after all he has said he's after free transfers and loans) or do they set their stall out and rubber stamp/veto the deals they think are right

Its a tough one as I myself am drawn between the two. I think the club needs to take a stand against how we are now perceived as a soft touch but equally believe the manager if he is actually after free transfers etc needs to be given a chance. Its a rock and a hard place what should happen.

Equally do the board say that's your budget for transfers and that's your budget for wages get on with it but don't come back to us (Green& Cesar situation) once you have done it make your bed and lie in it!!!

Cards on the table from Harry. What he says is right and there's a message for the fans in there that #### him off for being miserable and negative too. Although i would prefer the message to the board was
sent in a private e-mail or better still face to face. I agree with the board with the wage/agents fees and signing on fees are being challenged, but not all older players are like Bosingwa, and not all need to be given 4 year deals

Agree about the constant negative views on this board about older players.

HR proved that at Pompey with the likes of Merson, Stone and Sheringham three players with decent attitudes who wanted to play.

We in the past have also proved players in there heyday can contribute and are not freeloaders when you look at Wilkins, Furlong, T Francis and Nelson its not all bad we just crammed too many in year gone

Steve Palmer was also a steading head and leader when we most needed it.

All these players have the same thing in common they had a decent character and were at the club because they wanted to play football first and foremost age did not matter.

Furlong for example how easy would it have been for him with the stick he got to let his head drop and collect his wages but he never he pushed his chest out and turned our views around and I would go as far to say he turned himself from a villain in the Bush to a club legend

It's not just about ability but the right character, which is sadly lacking in many of the current squad.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
