I posted this kind of thing weeks ago, pay players £10 -15k a week and the rest is made up with bonuses ie Win,Draw,Scoring,CLean sheets etc. the better players that we would of signed on large wages have bigger incentives. If this happened we wouldn't get lack lustre performances as the players would get £0 for a loss

If this policy was in place, Bosingwa wouldnt of wanted to come to us, that's enough to say implement it.

If players turn us down, then it shows they're more interested in the money than the club, and would we want such players anyway?
Added to that, any manager that signs for us, there should be clauses in the contract that allows the club to sack a manager if he fails to gain promotion/keep us up/league position etc. without compensation.Last edited by QPR Richard; 08-06-2013, 05:11 AM.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

After ALL my anti TF 'PROJECT' rants about the new stadium etc if he can pull this off he really will be the new messiah !
It's exactly what football needs a performance related pay system , a nice liveable basic like £10k a week with the rest made up with bonuses.
Of course if Man Utd, City or any of the BIG clubs were to sign up it would have a chance of being a goer !
As everyone else has commented great idea but we are not in the position to start a revolution !
Ric-Roc was this your ITK gossip from yesterday ?
SO looks like it's going to be a Mexican standoff between TF & HR"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

I don't think the club policy is to start offering stupidly low monthly wages, as many here have said if that happens no one will sign, im sure whatever we offer will still be a very respectable salary but what were saying if you want to take it to the next level you need to A) perform to get it and B) earn it seems more then fair to me and the way to go.
The key is pitching the basic salary and incentive right so one drives the other. In QPRs current position and with our current reputation it will be a matter of no pain no gain in the transfer market until we shake off the big spenders tag and looks like were intent on doing that going forwards

Another thing that I would add now when signing new players is that we have relegation clauses but also set it out now to new signings should we go back up your salary will go up X% so a player knows im earning 15k a month now but if I bust a boll ock and we go up it im getting 30k let them know what the carrot is at the end of the season for achieving the target.
I think we can be smarter with how we remunerate our players if there is no goal/incentive at the end of the month/season where is the hunger to give everyone the drive as we found out this season
