I don't think so. Looks like the clear out has stalled so next season expect you will see former a Real Madrid, players from Man Utd, City, Chelsea, big paid stars, Champions League regulars etc just like last season... that is a pretty impressive team on paper and i am sure they will do better next season and win 5 games which is a whopping 25% increase in games won, what more could you want ;)

Not a chance that Granero, Park, M'Bia, Remy, Cesar, Bosingwa, Diakete, Cisse, Samba will be here next season. Not a chance. Their agents would be shot if they were.

Wait until July & August- they'll all be gone.

I don't understand this. He's the player the manager wants, and if Ric-Roc is correct, the club didn't cover themselves with glory in their attempt to sign him. It's a very bad sign.

I missed Ric-Roc's posts about it- what did we do? Doesn't sound like us to mess up!!! Haha

But what if the price was too high?? (the salary) TF did also question the player´s (or agent´s) reason for signing.

Dunno, but the deal Reading signed with him is for only a year, and on relatively low wages (according to Ric). Fernandes shouldn't be trying to judge a players' character - that's Harry's job.

Tony might have got mugged off left right and centre last year, but were all those signings a case of Hughes going to Fernandes and saying "I've always admired this player, can you try and get him for me?" I'm sure plenty were, but I suspect the likes of Granero, Mbia and Park were probably the other way around. Likewise with Samba, the fact we were constantly linked with him long before Harry arrived must raise a few eyebrows. Not to mention Dave McIntyre's assertion that Zamora and even Johnson were already coming to the club before Hughes arrived.

That is strange ...Remember when we signed Borrowdale, that was the same strange thing too. He was signed and then the manager had no choice but to accept him

You don't have to be on anything, did you see any games in the championship last season, even the play off semi's and final, the teams are pi*s poor, the clear out is only a good thing and if HArry gets in 3 or 4 decent championship players to go with some of the talent ( and yes they did under perform last season but there a lot better than they showed) we have, will will bet in the top mix all season.

Has anybody thought that there could of been a slight possibility that BRidge didn't want to sign for us and it was nothing to do with money or us not competing !!

Yeah I'm sure his boyhood dream was to one day play for the mighty Reading. Ric said he was keen until we gave him an offer that was apparently shabby beyond belief.

Love to know what 'shabby' looks like to a 33 year old Championship player.
