I find it extraordinary mate... I don't really know what to think of it to be honest or what way to turn. Maybe they should keep the same squad and just release the ones out of contract and see where that takes us end of the season.

They listed our transfers after the interview on sky mate.....really strange looking down the list it felt like they were talking about another club, bearing in mind our record fee paid before TF came along was £2.75 mill.
We just seemed to sleep walk into spending, or at least i did. Just heard figures being bandied about in the windows and thought nothing of it, but when you see it listed in front of you, it sinks in.
QPR have never paid these sums before. Amazing!

Tony has said he hasn't got involved in the transfers of players brought in, none of the three managers we've had since he came to the club have said a word about this, yet there are those on here who believe Tony made the buying decisions.

Where's the proof? Where's the evidence? We have to go by what we're told unless there's evidence to say otherwise.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

There's even proof AGAINST it (ie Hughes stating himself that he jumped at the chance to buy park) but the conspiracy theorists still reckon it's TF buying em

That's right Matty. Even though Hughes publicly stated he wanted to buy Park some believed TF made the decision. For a QPR chairman to financially back a manager is a rarity in our history, that's probably what's thrown so many people

We can have the best or worst chairman in the world... you will always have some against them.

MH was really happy to sign Park, never did he say that he didn't want him!

£58 million! wow..no wonder the media are portraying him as some kind of numpty! To spend £58 million and end up with a worse team than when you started is some kind of job! lol

Yeah not a good ending after spending all that I agree V. But is he to blame or the managers?.. I may be totally wrong but i was under the impression that managers gave the owners an idea how much a player was worth...I may be wrong.

As i say until someone from within the club says different we have to take him at his word

Follow @ficklefootball on Twitter- he loves a conspiracy theory about the club. Absolutely convinced Fernandes made the majority of the signings last summer.

                      Some fans are genuinely mental.

                          In a nutshell- yes mate.

He's quiet as a mouse when we win or anything good happens and seems to absolutely love it when we mess up in any way. The posts some **** about TF or something.

                          We've got some strange 'fans'.

They did listen to the wrong people last time that is acknowledged, I suppose the problem for me now if who are they now listening too to turn down deals like Bridge (not saying it was the right or wrong decision) and I assume that is what Harry is getting at he and his team are the footy people and knows a players worth (Hughes would have said the same thing).

I think ideally we need a football person who knows football business like David Dein involved in the club as he is a respected football mover and shaker

End of the day how many of you were saying TF shouldn't have let Mark Hughes sign this player and that player on this and that? So hold on.... now a manager wants to sign a player who will be 33 when the season starts... is a very good mate of SWP (worrying to say the least) and was happy to stay at man city all these years and collect big dough (fair play to him) rather than sign for a team, TF is in the wrong again??? He played well at Brighton but you bring players like Wayne Bridge in to this type of dressing room we already have - It's a recipe for more disaster. If ric says they insulted wayne bridge with that contract, then good! HR wanted to make him an offer so the club obliged but they don't want this type of player so made sure that if and when this signing back fired they wouldn't be hurt financially.

I applaud TF and the board.
Best post on this message board and well done Tony Fernandes.

If Harry wanted this player then he should be asking Tony's questions NOT the other way round.

Many want to say we're a joke of a club but this says we ARE learning from our lessons!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
