It's what goes on at football clubs, especially at this time of year with a new season starting in August and clubs are re-evaluating their situations. It seems for whatever reason that this type of thing at QPR gets picked up on by the press, whereas at other clubs it goes under their radar. So, not just at QPR!!

He knows as do the majority of fans that he wont get anywhere next season with the current squad and naturally wants to bring his own players in. I cant see us manageing to get rid of enough players that Harry is going to get a fair shot at it. Reckon Harry will walk and i wont blame him if he does. We have spent/spending millions to assemble this current squad of useless loser twunts and that mistake may drag us down over a period of years rather than months. Fernandes admits naivety but will he put his hand in his pocket and pay up these donkeys contracts? or are we going to be paying the likes of Boswinga/Zamora/Cisse/Traore/Granero/Park etc for years to come?

also, what is the point of signing a player that will be too old if we did go up and wd need to be replaced. last week pretty well everyone on here seemed to agree that this time we needed to build a team that cd grow into a prem side so we don't have to start again every transfer window.

"The important thing is to set a strategy and stick to it. I think Harry will be the first person to say that I have been the most supportive chairman in the Premier League. I played FIFA '13 with Loic Remy before he signed when people said we would never get him."
jesus wept....Abramovich, Levy, Kroenke, Zingarevich, Whelan, all these rich Chairman/owners and we get this clown. Only at QPR.Last edited by vblockranger; 07-06-2013, 03:04 PM.

We've come along way forward since then so maybe the Fernandes bashers should put things into perspective a little more and be a tad more greatful.

May be he comes over as arrogant to you but I think you will find yourself in a small minority on that one. His biggest downfall (IMHO) is that he does have views on how best to be seen and perceived by his peers in the aviation world and perhaps has taken some life lessons on corporate behaviour that give off the wrong vibes to some?
Well said.
