I really hope they have hired Simon and Garfunkel to sing "Bridge over troubled water" We simply cannot sack another manager now. No-one will sign for us this summer.

Not just QPR though is it....seems that a similar scenario is happening at Swansea as well......and other situations of potential unrest carry on at all other clubs, so it does annoy me when people spout the "only at QPR" line!
It's what goes on at football clubs, especially at this time of year with a new season starting in August and clubs are re-evaluating their situations. It seems for whatever reason that this type of thing at QPR gets picked up on by the press, whereas at other clubs it goes under their radar. So, not just at QPR!!

Just cant see it happening as who in their right mind would want one of our overpaid losers? Fernandes/Beard/Hughes have made such a **** up i reckon Harry is in an untenable position. He knows as do the majority of fans that he wont get anywhere next season with the current squad and naturally wants to bring his own players in. I cant see us manageing to get rid of enough players that Harry is going to get a fair shot at it. Reckon Harry will walk and i wont blame him if he does. We have spent/spending millions to assemble this current squad of useless loser twunts and that mistake may drag us down over a period of years rather than months. Fernandes admits naivety but will he put his hand in his pocket and pay up these donkeys contracts? or are we going to be paying the likes of Boswinga/Zamora/Cisse/Traore/Granero/Park etc for years to come?
putting his hand in his pocket is precisely what he (and presumably the mittels) have been doing. all those players weren't signed on gate receipts. as the previous posts stated, you can't attack fernandes for signing too many over-paid has beens then in the next breath complain that he refuses to sign yet another one...

I am complaining that Fernandes is not so quick to right his wrongs. Least he could do to give Harry a fair chance is to fix his **** ups. Cant judge Harry next season if he still has this lot to work with.

I see what you are saying mate but everyone has their breaking point. Suspect Tony looks at his bank balance and seeing 40/ 50 grand a week going out to pay the likes of johnson, zamora, park, bossingwa, etc etc and just thinks "no way".

also, what is the point of signing a player that will be too old if we did go up and wd need to be replaced. last week pretty well everyone on here seemed to agree that this time we needed to build a team that cd grow into a prem side so we don't have to start again every transfer window.

"The important thing is to set a strategy and stick to it. I think Harry will be the first person to say that I have been the most supportive chairman in the Premier League. I played FIFA '13 with Loic Remy before he signed when people said we would never get him."

jesus wept....Abramovich, Levy, Kroenke, Zingarevich, Whelan, all these rich Chairman/owners and we get this clown. Only at QPR.

V - All a few of us are probably saying is that we would rather have Fernandes over Flavio and Co anyday.
We've come along way forward since then so maybe the Fernandes bashers should put things into perspective a little more and be a tad more greatful.

'Or are you bring back Flavio'?

Im in the "bring back anyone" camp i reckon dont trust Fernandes with his snidey tweets and his constant TV/Press/Radio interviews . He just spent 2 seasons spending too much time and effort marketing his other interests to the detriment of my football club. Learnt his lesson? guess we will see but i am not all that confident that his arrogance will let him. The future worries me with his sights set on this multi use venue ....right little earner if he can get his grubby little hands on it and we seem to be his vehicle to getting it.

I get your frustration with some of the exposure - but I have met and worked with TF on various deals/projects and the one thing he certainly is not is arrogant V. Keen and even keener to portray an active interest in his numerous investments yes but he is a man of humble beginnings and massive achievements, he is incredibly wealthy but equally driven to achieve in everything he does. May be he comes over as arrogant to you but I think you will find yourself in a small minority on that one. His biggest downfall (IMHO) is that he does have views on how best to be seen and perceived by his peers in the aviation world and perhaps has taken some life lessons on corporate behaviour that give off the wrong vibes to some?

A fair point, it happens everywhere, it just seems worse or more prolonged at QPR! It keeps the message boards busy in the off season!
