This is a problem the council needs to deal with, not QPR. They're the sellers and have to clear the obstacles to the sale.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Look at the right hand side of the page.
Just took a look. They have objected and set up a website to show opposition but they have not finished it and parts of it say it will be live by 2 April 2013 but two months later they have not updated the site!! appears to me that this pressure group have run out of wind before they even got started or are very disorganised.

Plus I note they have used pictures of the new facility on there site are there any legal eagles on this WATRB as I assume pictures would be copyrighted by the club and they would need to have got permission to use them??? wonder if they did??

There is a forum, i have signed up but am waiting to be approved, if you live in ealing borough it might be an idea to sign up to see what the fuss is aout and put forward your own opinions politely

the deal with QPR is only a lease the council is not selling the land to QPR , I think their argument is perhaps deliberately missleading to stir up support for their cause
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

The opinion poll has 79% in favour of the planning application and none absolutely against. Pile on, it can't hurt.

If this is the website that is doing it I do not think there is too much to worry about. They say that they have served papers for pre-action. I think this means some sort of mediation or consultation. Also the poll indicates that nobody has signed their petition. I think it might just be a few hotheads who have no real backing.

I doubt very much it was rushed having some knowledge of planning procedures.
Looks like the curse of QPR goes on!
On the basis we don't do anything properly.

Doesn´t the development of this area benefit the council and their residents aswell? At least that was my understanding.

It's probably residents with properties backing on to an open space at the moment and development will take away their view from the back garden.

Can't be that , on the Hanwell side there is the canal a field then a railway between any residential properties and Warren farm ,imo they won't have a case but on the other side the Southall residents would have more grounds for complaint
