Apparently he is the guest presenter on the breakfast show tomorrow so I would expect there to be plenty of chat about QPR, what went wrong and what things were like while he was manager
4 hr stint eh? Must have to be up at 4 am for that. Although he probably doesn't have a lot to do now that he's retired. Always interesting to be fair, just wish he or somebody would lift the lid on what really happened during his stint at Loftus Road.
Good listen so far to be fair, just said he never found out who actually owns QPR, but the reason he put up with the behind the scenes krap was the fans ........ Sounds like he'd come back in a flash
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%? For us that would mean around 29k."
Only manager to ever get more than the odd good game out of Adel looking back getting rid of him because he couldn't attract big names was a mistake. Its easy to be generous with our praise for him now though the truth is i wasn't disapointed when he went thinking it was time for a change. Im looking forward to his new book but fear the club will not come out of it very well.
Sadly not included in the book are some of the tweets NW received from a Moroccan midfielder along the lines of "I hate this club, sell me"... and then others from a team-mate, currently on-loan abroad, saying something else along the lines of "keep that Moroccan cu nt away from me in training or I'll break his leg". These weren't included as apparently there are copyright issues over replicating texts in published works.
