Any players you thought were messiah-like when you were growing up that you now feel are lesser?
For me...Kevin Gallen is the biggest dissapointment to me. As I kid I always used to play down the park with my brothers and mates. We'd all pick our favorite players and I was always King Kev. I would always shout his name as I went up for a header and wheel away in celebration shouting all things QPR. This was the man I looked up to as a kid as well as Sinclair, but Gallen was the name I'd always pick.
Towards the end of his QPR career he started to become a very bitter and childish person. He seemed to think he was bigger than the club and that he was Mr. QPR and therefore above the law. He refused to come back to the club whilst Gianni and Gregory were still at the club which p**sed me off massively as this was an example of how much he clearly thought he was bigger than QPR. He even said some very s**ty things about the club to a good friend of mine on a night out with his fat mate that he knocks about with. This from a man who was supposed to love the club and do anything for it and it's fans.
Sad times indeed as this man is no longer a hero in my eyes. I'll always thank him for all the good he did for us, but can never forgive him for the way he acted throughout his departure.
