Personally i would rather we dont look for a short term fix of signing old players , and we should rebuild from the ground upwards . If that means not going up in our first season ,so be it. Bridge still has a season or so left in him and agreed ,he probably is a good player attitude wise to have around , but i fear its only papering over the cracks.

If the bigger picture is a new music venue as you claim, why is he bothering to spend a fortune building a new training ground and investing in the team? Why doesn't he save himself the aggro and just build a new music venue?
You've even accused TF of paying off government officials thereby libelling him. If he so chose, he could sue you and you'd have to provide evidence to support your claims. It would be very easy to track you down.
Start backing your claims with hard evidence or belt up!

I really think the powers that be have listened to the many of us fans that know we need fresh young blood with the hunger to succeed and its a valid point.
The transfer policy or lack there of has been an utter disaster for so long now, i for one applaud them toughening up if this is happening as i think bridge is not the answer to our predicament although he is a good player but for how long and what cost?
The aim is promotion, and as quick as possible. But this time with largely keeping the same team that is promoted unlike the last 2 disastrous years. NO TO BRIDGE!
It's not about age it's about attitude & fitness imo. A team needs a mix, Derry & Hill came in under Warnock and for me those 2 along with Kenny were the reason we went up, they added grit, determination and
experience to our team. Tony must let Harry manage or we'll continue on our downward spiral

If it is true that Beard is in charge of transfers, then he does have a very valid point.
Afterall, wasnt it Beard who negotiated the deals for all of Hughes pre-season signings. He agreed their over inflated wages.
Redknapp is correct in saying that Beard and the Board are not football people (they have proved this over the last two seasons (most would have kept faith in Warnock to see if he could have reversed QPR's poor form).
As for signing Bridge, he is better at left back than Traore and a better option that Hill. The South Korean left back may not be up to the standard just yet and may need a season to do so. This would mean a 2 year deal for Bridge could be just what is needed.
Redknapp is also correct in saying that he should have no interference, as it is him who will be judged on the team's results.

I don't mind Beard and them lot, I think what this football club needs is a football person upstairs to help them out. Warnock wants a job like this why not bring him in?"When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0
