Mind you I said all along that HR wouldn't want to manage in the championship.

But then I blame him because he took the job and spend over £18m.

Trouble is he won't walk away because he wants a pay off.

Thank god we got Harry he talking complete sense why would you anyone want beard and tony interfering with who he signs? After all Harry is the manager who KNOWS football tony and beard have the same knowledge and understanding of players as the average fan. People who see this as a bad thing really? Who was moaning last year about park a "tony fernades" signing how they should not be getting involved. Know our manager is saying what we want but we don't like it?

To those saying f-off Harry just one thing to think about. All he is saying is what a few have posted on here, that players were brought in by the board rather than the managers.
There is also a great post on LFW by Kensalriser that says similar to this.........Under Briatore we had a chairman who enjoyed interfering and we all said he should f-off.
Now we have a manager hinting the board are interfering and some are saying he (Harry) should f-off.
Doesn't seem to add up does it.....?
Now I'm not saying TF should go, but this anti Harry stuff is just unfair. Maybe he is looking to get fired, who knows but i agree the football has to be down to the manager

Good post...Harry is probably as pissed off as we are that it doesnt look likely anyone is going to be mug enough to come in for many of the bunch of usless ******s we have. With this current lot we will get nowhere next season and Harry can see that and is maybe weighing up his options. Fernandes mistakes from the last 2 seasons may haunt us for a fair few seasons to come.

TF's last resort would be to pay out the remainder of certain players contracts to get them off the books. Unlikely I know but I wouldn't rule it out completely.

Maybe that is what Harry is hoping ( i know i am). Fernandes made the mistakes and maybe should shell out to put it right. Trouble is a think Tony is not all that keen , talks the talk and all that.........

So the players we signed were all down to Fernandes? I'm not sure that's right. Hughes and Harry picked the players...he wrote the cheques. Only exception is Park but that's one player.

But is it fair to punish Tony for failing?

I think people are reading into this too much. All Harry is saying is if he does not get backing, then we have no chance. TF though has already said to expect us to be in Championship for a couple of years.

Not all the players but i think Tony had a fair influence in his attempt to "raise our profile". Like Dave Mc proposed the other day its all about branding with Fernandes.

EDIT: lol just saw Dave Mc's latest tweet "David McIntyre ‏@davidmcintyre76
Wayne Bridge? Yun Suk-young will be Yun Suk-old before he gets near the first team. And we can't have that. #qpr #globalbrand #agendas"

Why am I not surprised at the total over reaction and misinterpretation of so many people to a very genuine and honest answers to some cleverly worded questions. Redknapp did not accept much responsibility for last seasons ugly attempt at being the worst team in the PL on the basis that he had little choice but to deal with the hopeless bunch on no marks he inherited. What he also said was he would manage us in the fizzy pop with a team put together by him and would be judged on that - what's fairer or more genuine than that? Nothing.
The questions he was asked today (during a round of golf - and that in itself is wrong) were divisive and SSN has played a blinder in the way they reported it.
Harry is 100% right - he and his team are the only football expert's at the Club and they alone should say who comes in. He has also said he is not looking to spend loads of Tony's money so there shouldn't be an issue with backing. If the (non football knowledge) Board don't back his decisions and look to go down a different road, why on earth should he stay. Not that he's said they won't go with him - he just said (in answer to a question) things will change if they don't back him.

With the exception of a few (Stanley, 4Life, Adel, V and Since Birth) everyone has just swallowed some shabby journalism/sensationalism and proceeded to stick the knife into the manager. Why? He said he would manage us in the Championship, he said he would be accountable for results on the strength of a team he picks and he has talked sense in this brief interview - what more can you want from the manager.

Oh, and if Wayne Bridge on a free is the way he intends to go, I'm looking forward with hope

If Harry wanted to go then why is he bothering to attempt to sell and sign players?

Can't argue with any of that really. But even so, what he should have said was that he was very happy here, looking forward to building a new team packed with young talent that will produce exciting football. Followed up by: " Now p155 off and find someone else to twist their words with your grubby, shabby and pointless attempts at getting a story where one doesn't exist". That would have been received very wll indeed.
