  • Watrb charity event

Been thinking tonight, why dont we do anything like this?

Get a team together from this forum and do a sponsored run, parachute jump etc, sure there are plenty of things us lot could think up.

Could make it a yearly thing and with the anniversary of the passing of both Benny and Fawny within the next few months all proceeds could be split between their families and go to a charity of their choosing.

Just an idea, and means we mark their passing and show that both are not forgotten. (sorry if I have left any other R's out that have passed during my time on this forum)

      Yeah, you're probably right Mellow.

Must admit as soon as you said for both the lads I think it's a great idea and better than a charity so to speak. Knew Ben fairly well and he was a great guy - still heart breaking what happend. Proper rangers and a genuine nice guy. Had to pleasure of seeing him regular at away games and the odd drink down the bush. RIP to both.

Knew Benny well myself and shed a few tears when I heard about him, we had some silly sessions home and away watching Rangers. Very good idea and count me in

NIce thought Northolt pal I'd be game - few of us pull together to arrange it and it's certainly feasible.

I'd be up for doing something in the memory of benny and fawny for sure.

                  well

well in the case of fawney me and him had a big row on the dot org so when i met him in the flesh i did feel a bit embarressed then when he died everyone said how he was this baker who had a cake shop in a hertfordshire village, and in this village there where no qpr fans, but all he ever talked about was,yes you guessed it qpr,in the case of benny i never met him but when he and pete co hosted a show for the WATRBS site benny came across as a really lovely bloke,so maybe the charity event is a good ideah if someone could get it of the ground,i would oimagine the best time would be a meeting after the games and you guys can have a massive drink.

I could jump out of the airplane if I am given a working parachute.

Is it possible that when we have these said losses to our family that somebody puts there picture up as I have been to every away game for the past 4 seasons and and have only missed 16 in 31 years but when you guys talk about Benny etc I don't know who your talking about as I don't know everybody by name

I like your bike. The additional trick nut an impressive feature.

I have a picture response for this but my work laptop is blocking it :strive:

But on the subject of soggy bsicuit, I play it alone sometimes. You know, just to liven up the normally mundane activity of biscuit consumption.
