Exclusive: Forrester nears Doncaster switch
Jun 28 2013 By Jacob Murtagh
BRENTFORD have granted Harry Forrester permission to train with Doncaster Rovers with view to a permanent move to the Championship new-boys.
The Chronicle exclusively revealed yesterday that the former Aston Villa youngster was on Rovers' radar.
Forrester looks certain to leave Griffin Park this summer after failing to sign the improved contract offer on the table.
And it is understood the 22-year-old has hooked up with Doncaster as he closes on a move to the Keepmoat.
However, Brentford will be entitled to compensation for the ex-Watford trainee should he move on as he's under 24 and has been offered fresh terms in TW8.
Forrester has made 69 appearances in red and white since his switch to west London in 2011, scoring 11 goals.
