  • Watching that Neymar...remind you of anyone?

Greedy, skillful, f@cks up simple passes, thing is he can't do half the stuff good ole Adel does against the big teams!

That's twice now England have made him look like Clint Hill as a blindfolded winger.

2-2 Del, Fred opened the scoring for them, Ox came on and equalised nicely and then Rooney scored a belter. Then one of their lot equalised late on.

Anyone who thinks Neymar is overrated is dumb, at Barcelona he'll truly begin to flourish and prove himself.

You only needed to have actually watched his games for Santos to understand and his record for his age is only matched by Pele, Ronaldo and Maradonna I believe.

I'm sure they proved themselves at that age on the international stage? Neymar has been terrible twice now against England, just had a half decent game against Mexico I think it was.

He has played 32 games scored 20 goals and 19 assists. At 21 years old if thats not proven, please tell me what is

thats for the full international team

It was kind of like watching QPR... they were all over us and somehow we give Remy the ball and we hope and pray he scores. Two minutes later we let in another goal!

In fairness I don't think that prooves anything - look at who his goals have come against for Brazil:

Scotland, Ecuador, China, Costa Rica, Iraq, Japan, Bolivia etc. Means naff all.

Don't get me wrong he is a talented lad and I hope he shines at Barca, but scoring against Brazilian league opposition & some 2 bob international sides doesn't mean you've made it. He still has a lot to prove as, whenever he has been on TV over here, he has been pony IMO.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

You can only play whats in front of you, but you also missed out goals against Argentina and Germany who are hardly '2 bob international sides'

People also vastly underestimate the standard of the Brazilian, Cprinthians did win the Clubs World Championship against a full strength Chelsea side?

And some people say he would get broken in half by defenders over here... its not like the Brazilian ones haven't tried

Time will tell mate. As I said, I hope he does well, be good to have a new "star" on the scene - but he still has alot to prove.

Overrated and dont think he is any better than what Barca have in reserve let alone first team.
