  • Future.

The future scares me a bit. Looking at our club, we have to dig really deep to find a good foundation again. It seems that this Premier experience, contrary to what we all expected, left us with more wounds that someone will ever dream of. The list of overrated, over paid mercenaries is overwhelming and it will take some time before they leave. We have already went through this in the past, with players on good wages and long contracts, sitting relaxed and just good only to pick their fat wages. My big worry is that we may do the same mistakes again. Already players mentioned that will be targeted this summer to join us, are players that passed their best, living on their past reputation and looking for a last attractive deal.
If we comfortable to prolong our stay in the CCC, let it be to build a good foundation that will serve well for the future. Mr. Fernandes will do well to bring people with QPR blood to show how it was done in the past. Someone like Gerry Francis, will be of great benefit to the club. If there is money to spend, then spend it wisely on quality players from the CCC, DIV 1 and 2.

Well I think Fernandes showed us that he cannot run a football club. I feel sorry for him because I think he is a genuine bloke whom enjoys QPR as one of his hobbies amoungst F1.

A fool with his money is soon parted, and Tony was ripped of badly by the agent and Hughes signing those ridiculous players on big money.

However I believe in second chances and Fernandes has to now show leadership and start again from scratch. He undid all the good work of warnock so he has show that he can put this mess right.

Dont know if i really want Gerry back , i seem to remember as soon as things went a bit dodge, he was the first to start banging on about not needing QPR or football in general , i would rather remember his playing days and the first spell as our manager

A good memory Vespa and when it became apparent we were defo for the drop he stepped aside and allowed someone else to have the relegation on their CV

Not sure Warnock did so much good work when it come to building for the future but he was a real leader until certain players began to undermine him. I read the quotes of keith curle and was quite shocked at the fact they built a team knowing if it gained promotion it would struggle badly in the prem. In saying that i don't think Warnock can be held responsible for that the owners at the time should have invested in some youth aswell as the old war horses. Lets just hope that Tony and Harry do things the right way this summer i think that all at the club will have lerned from the last 2 seasons
