  • Wilf Zaha better than Taarabt.....Says Warnock

Agree or disagree, with Neil Warnock?...I mean he should show up better surely,... simply because he's in a better team.

Neil Warnock had a big falling out with adel so I think there is a little bitterness going on here!

I haven't seen enough of Zaha and clearly alex Ferguson knows his stuff, however I know some think he's over hyped. I think it's far too early to compare players as Zaha hasn't even played premier league football yet. Anyway I'd still rather we got a young hungry manager that made use of adels ability!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I think Adel is better but Zaha's attitude will take him further
      Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
      And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

God-given talent doesn't count for much if you can't be bothered dropping the spare tire on your waist. Attitude is why bigger clubs haven't come calling for Adel.

taraabt has more natural talent but zaha seems more disciplined (so far)

zaha is also english, meaning he will be hyped up & given chances more than adel was... if a young english player did what adel did it the championship he'd be going for obscene amounts

adel needs to play somewhere where he'll be humbled by the players around him & motivated to improve himself. with us he's our best player even when he's putting 50% effort in

Am obviously bias but I'd say Adel.

Forgetting the 2 years in the PL as they're irrelevant n this compariosn, Zaha has only played Championship football so can only compare him against Adel's time in that league and Adel done alot more damage than Zaha. Hugely inflated price tage for him as he is young and English.

Some good points above about the attitudes though and thus how far they will go.

Adel is the most talented player I have ever seen. But ......... that was last season. Regarding the other one, I really don´t know what to say about his abilty. In a way, I think he is well and truly mentally installed in the united squad already. In the matches I have seen him, he seems to be more of a "fox in the box" type of player.

Taarabt is talented at times but zaha has signed for united and the rumour is adel to going to al ain. That says it all really

This. Adel's attitude will never change, he's a maverick and mercurial talent, just needs the right manager. Many great players were like this and excelled under great managers. Zaha will do well at United because he has Moyes and Fergie there if needed to look after him. Adel hasn't got anyone like this, he's seeing new managers coming in all too frequently and often tries to carry the team himself leading to disappointing displays followed by being benched for a few weeks, can you imagine his frustration. Needs to move on imo to a more stable club, we're ruining his career. Time for us to move on as well, have to rebuild and come back up stronger in all areas.

Just out of interest, coz I genuinely don't know.....

Who was voted Best Championship player this season ?

                    And last season ?

And the season before Adel won it ?

And how valuable are those 3 ?

                    Could be an interesting comparison.....

                          Zaha: Played 43, scored 6.
Tarbs: Played 44, scored 19. And won the Footballer of the Year award.

Taking out of it the 2 PL years as I said before, and purely focusing on what they done at Championship level (all Zaha has done), it's quite easily Tarbs. He hasn't done it in the PL so people's memories of him are tainted, but just remember how good he was the year we came up - tore that league apart, far bigger impact that Zaha has had.

Zaha is way overrated and priced, as are all young English players. Carroll, Henderson & Wickham to name a few recent 1s.

Spot on Matty Adel is by far the better Championship player(stats don't lie) it'll be interesting to see how Zaha progresses gotta feeling he'll prove a better premier league footballer than Adel.
