If we flog Adel surely it can't be far from that valuation? Not saying he is mind, but 15m for a player like Zaha is ridiculous. Adel is as good/if not better than Zaha, who is over-rated for his current ability & widely overpriced at that figure. Remy was 6-8m for god sake, a highly proven French international striker.

Adel is nowhere near the player Zaha is hence Man Utd not bashing down our door to sign him. Adel has no pace, cant shoot, cant head, cant tackle, cant pass with anything other than the outside of his boot, cant track back, cant beat many prem players but has immense ball skills and likes nutmegs. Also has proved after 2 seasons that he cant cut it in the prem.

lol do the stats mention that he was signed by Alex Ferguson for £15 million? that give you a clue to how good he is and how much potential he has? Sure as hell cant compare him to Adel

Haha, The same Alex Ferguson that signed Taibi?! He makes mistakes too, not often though... but 15m for a player like Zaha is overpriced. He has potential but he isnt worth 15m at the moment, even taking that into consideration. If you actually watch Zaha he is often wasteful, tries too many tricks, often doesnt have a good end product often enough but he can run, he makes bad decisions half the time and isnt prolific in front of goal. Not to mention his tracking back is rubbish and mentally he is unproven (fell out of Palaces game today for large spells).

Zaha's championship record this season-
Apps 45 goals 8 assists 8

Even this season Taarabt has got 5 goals and 4 assists from 31 games, in a far better league.

The fact that Zaha is an England international makes his price tag almost double. Top Premier League clubs are desperate for English players due the UEFA rules

Pretty sure Adel is now a home grown player, seen as an English produced player as far as the rules go.

I agree that Zaha is well overpriced at 15m but he is not being signed for what he has done this season, he is being signed for the potential that he has for the future. This is why Adel will never be a 15m player, because a player with a bad attitude that cannot be fixed has no potential at the highest level!

Well there is talk of some clubs in the Middle East being prepared to pay a good bit more than that. Whether Adel will go for that or not remains to be seen!

You can only compare at Champ level as Zaha hasn't set foot in the PL yet. Adel done far more damage than Zaha at that level and not a single person was bashing Adel when he scored & assisted 40 odd goals to take us up.

Exactly as others have said, Zaha's price tage is hugely inflated due to him being English. I might be in the minorityhere but I think Zaha is overrated.

Adel is lazy and will not getting any better. He is championship quality.
