Why do people think that by getting another job Hughes will be off our wage bill? We are paying him compensation for sacking him i imagine that we will still have to pay that even if he has a new job!

When Mark Hughes was asked to leave QPR, Tony Fernandes decided to leave him on the payroll rather than pay him off the remainder of his contract or negotiate a pay off. Should Hughes wish to begin employment with a new club he will need to terminate his contract with QPR. If Fernandes wanted to be picky he could also ask for a fee from Stoke, although given the circumstances I'm sure he will just be happy to have him off the payroll!

I cant see the board letting him loose with much of a transfer kitty after he ****ed millions away at LR!!2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!
2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....
2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....
2015/2016, average at best.....
2016/2017, same old, same old....
2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!
Its the hope that kills you!

Similar ruling as used in many divorce cases. the ex gets maintenance each month to keep her (or him) in the custom to which they became used to. Once she/he remarries, the ex no longer has to keep paying maintenance (child support for children still gets paid)
How much was Hughes on at QPR? getting him off the payroll is probably worth getting 2 or 3 players off it!
