I suspect the deal with Stoke has been done so he's now negotiating with us to be "released" from his contract.

Think he might do well there as Stoke's owner is nothing like Fernandes.

I'd like to think it would be as easy as

        *Phone Rings*
'Mark 'Please leave QPR's wage list' Hughes
        Accept - Reject'
        *Accept*
MH " Can I leave my contract with QPR "
        Fernandes " Yes you smug ***** "

        *Hang up*

        *405 - SkySports*
' STOKE CITY FIRST TEAM RELEGATED FROM THE PREMIER LEAGUE AFTER ONLY 6 GAMES '

*This forums reaction* - "**** yeah"
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I hope that this comes off as it gets him of the payroll and will be the first (in my view the most responsible) of many to exit the club and allow us to recover.

Its ironic that he appears to be going to Stoke as for me it was the Stoke away game last season which sealed his exit. For those of us that were there you will know that the away end is right beside the tunnel. I remember clearly after the final whistle had gone Hughes walking towards the tunnel by the away fans clapping then the shock on his face as the vast majority of R's booed him and gave him the two finger and five knuckle shuffle.

He looked totally shocked by the reception and from the look on his face I thought to myself you know your a dead man walking. He followed that defeat up with a defeat to Southampton at home and we know what happened next.

Stoke is a job which could finish his career off if he don't get off to a flier, and we all know that Hughes' teams need a good three months to gel. He faces a vocal crowd who are now expecting to be entertained by the footie whilst remaining in mid table with players who have been bought to play in a certain style. For me he wont see out the season

Liked this letter to The Guardian's Fiver today:

"One unforeseen knock-on effect of the managerial merry-go-round possibly delivering Mark Hughes to Stoke is that I'm rethinking my whole attitude to parenting. What is the point of telling my daughter to study hard at school so that she can be really good at something when she grows up, when there's so much more money to be made by being consistently rubbish at something? I assume the name Alex McLeish will also pop up somewhere soon" – Bryan Matthews.

A supporter drives around Stoke with a 'Hughes out' banner on his van in protest to Mark Hughes's expected appointment.

                He's popular already!!
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

                2015/2016, average at best.....

                2016/2017, same old, same old....

                2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

That flecking chancers career should be well & truly over already .................

I cannot believe another RICH man can be stupid enough to take him on again :rage:
"Steve, do you think 25k is a good option when there are indications that within four years, new stadiums on average have increased attendances of 60%?
For us that would mean around 29k."

My old man was the star player for HMP Parkhurst during their successful and unbeaten 77/78 season.

Excellent bit of news. Let's hope he takes his riff raff with him.
