I agree Dexter. I think he has put alot of effort and hard work into this football club.
If the players showed half the passion Gianni does this season then we have a great chance of promotion. I have nothing but respect for the man.

He has been about the only bit of stability at the club while flavio sacks managers all the time - which is why we were able to sign players like watson, wayne, connolly, gorks, buz etc etc. Yep the playing staff lacks some balance. I too am really glum about what may have gone on re the Hooper fiasco but we are, not always smoothly, assembling the best group of players in the hoops for years, arguably inc our last year or so in the premiership.
Get a grip people - it is coming together, albeit slowly, bumpily. From the times I've met him think its not really accurate to cast him as some sort of alistair campbell figure who spins, lies etc - as anyone who talks to him knows he speaks in a funny, rambling way saying all sorts of things, some absolutely spot on, some a bit crazy, perhaps speaking before he thinks. That's just the way the guy is.
I hope Pete or Scott have let him know that fans were seriously cross about the hooper business so that now he might learn the lesson - working extra hours to bring hooper or someone similar to the club on loan or in Jan.

Isleworth - You are a sensible guy and if a Chairman of another football club libeled Paladini, he would be all over them like a rash with letters from lawyers asking to retract the statement which makes their client out to have not told the truth or stating that their client will be suing him. On the basis he has done nothing and cleared the matter up through his local journalist, make your own mind up.

I am genuinely surprised at how many people are willing to accept this as best practice and just shrug their shoulders and say hey ho.

I am not willing at all just to accept this as best practice but would rather believe and support a statement from an employee of QPR (even Paladini) then another clubs version of events until proved otherwise.

As I have stated previously if it is 100% proved that Paladini lied then I will my feelings clear on the matter I promise you but until then I would rather back one of our own as such.

Before any predictable wisecracks from others when I mean backing one of our own I mean anyone connected with QPR and not Paladini in particular

Paul - if there is proof Gianni has been telling porkies on purpose, then i agree it stinks. But a) we cant say for sure, at least not yet b) there are lots of other things to be positive about.
