  • how the loic remy rape could damage us

roumours that i had picked up were that he was already going to be unloaded for 10 million pound
and we were going to use some of that money to buy hooper from celtic

but now the clubs interested in him may well want to wait for him to be cleared

its only a thought that i have but it could be true lets just hope wwe can unload loic and bring in hooper

In all honesty, I'd rather have Remy than Hooper, despite how good Hooper is. There is a reason that Liverpool and Arsenal are targeting Remy, and Norwich are targeting Hooper

I'm pretty sure that Loic Remy getting 'unloaded' was what caused this whole problem in the first place!

I could be wrong but I don't think there's much chance of a conviction a 34 year old woman goes around to the flat of her own accord , imo whether he's guilty or not his brief will get him off if gets that far ,and potential buyers will look into the case ,and if they need a striker bad enough they'll go for it

            Disagree with that mate.

I think if you apply the same logic to the Ched Evans case then you'd say that he'd have walked as well. A girl allows herself to get picked up in a kebab shop and then 10 minutes later is in a blokes hotel room, the girl also openly admits she doesn't remember anything. The conviction in that case stood because the court decided the girl wasn't in a fit state to give consent.

All that I've heard about Remy's case is that there are 3 blokes involved, the woman is 34 years old and went to Remy's place of her own accord, there was an allegation of a potential date rape drug and she never gave consent (well certainly not to all 3 of them).

I don't think it would be too far fetched to say that there is a possibility of a conviction. Certainly too much of a possibility for any cash to change hands for Remy until there has been a verdict.

So I guess we are stuck with him for now, not a bad thing of course if this rape accusation was not looming over his career like the Sword of Damocles.

Do you reckon this 34 year old lady might be on the payroll and will withdraw her allegation 5 minutes after the transfer window shuts? Ha ha

Hes bailled to till then so if they decide to charge him the Court case would be months after so that he can prepare his defence. He will be a ranger until Jan IMHO
