QPR are considering a move for Tottenham Hotspur right-back Adam Smith.

Hoops boss Harry Redknapp is a big fan of the 22-year-old, who spent most of the season on loan at Millwall.

Adam Smith is a good player and just the player we need.
But, it would be a huge dent to Harrimans hopes of playing next season.

Unless we get Townsend next season, I hope we don't delve in the loan market.
Think we just need to look at the future in way of signings.

And where does that leave Harriman? Redknapp's a ****.
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

The same thing happened when we signed Orr and got walker on loan.
Smith is mustard and I would try and buy him and not loan him.
Harriman is young and great backup his time will come

Smith can play left back just as good as right, he has been used at right mid as well

We need two right backs anyway. Fabio and Bosingwa are going, and a bit of competition among two young players is a good thing.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I'm not knocking Smith but Harriman is very good. This is Harriman's big season & IMO our youth system has failed if Harriman isn't first choice right back. Sums up Harry's carrying on buying approach. As you said if its a loan I will lose it. If permanent even though I'm against it for Harriman's sake I could just about accept it.

But seriously I've seen preseason, under 21's, Wycombe & Liverpool. He could of played for us in the Premier League let alone Championship, he's such a sensible full back, whoever recruited him deserves credit

But we have to have a team. We can't depend on Harriman for every game we need another player as well.

                    Why not have both?

The look of that team isn't too bad except for the fact that I doubt Chelsea would be willing to loan two of their players to us. Also, Given is a moneygrabber on the final stretch of his career and I really hope that isn't richard dunne in cb, he would be completely the wrong person to sign

I reckon we could buy the chelscum duo.mceachran will not make it their, they'll
Just go and buy another midfielder for £20m+,and Bertrand is a possibility IF they get like shaw from soton.
Dunne isn't my favourite centre back but samba needs someone alongside him that reads the game well and dunne can do a job in the championship for a season, then onouha should be ready after that.
