  • QPR admit Bosingwa blunder

QPR warned Mark Hughes about signing Jose Bosingwa but their former manager did it anyway.

Chronicle sport has learned senior hierarchy had grave reservations about bringing in the former Chelsea defender last summer, but were assured the Portuguese would come up trumps.
    ...
A source said: “Every time Mark was asked to check a particular player, the report came back positively only to discover the same player refused to sit on the bench in one game.”

What a load of garbage. MArk Hughes didnt pay the signing on fee or agree to pay his wages. If the senior managemtn didnt want to bring him in they should have told Mark to F$%k off and identify another option.

At the time Hughs did seem to have the full trust of a naïve and misguided TF, a hard lessen lets hope Tony wont be so trusting again

            Easy to blame him now.

Others agreed, negotiated & sanctioned the deal. Since when has a manager been able to give his chairman a list of targets & every single one be agreed? Doesn't happen. Unless you don't have football people dealing with such matters as we do it at QPR !

Yeah, blame it all on Hughes now.
This just in: UN suspect Hughes behind world hunger.

Diplomacy my guess , it's hard to admit in public you've been taken for a c///t

Look at the wording, sounds to me like the club wanted bosingwa and asked hughes to consider him as a player and hughes said yeah he will be ok, now the club are blaming hughes

i would like to know who the "source" is because he is not doing anyone any favours with stories like this, just making it even more difficult for us to shift Bosingwa without paying through the nose
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

What's done is done, nothing can be done. Sell him to some no mark China, UAE, Turkey club & move on
                        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                        And many more mistakes

                            Give him away then

Seriously though there's many more stupid clubs that will pay his wages, he's (sadly & somehow) an ex Chelsea player for years, Champions League winner looking for a last pay packet. There will be clubs
