  • Anyone know this goal?

this is my personal tribute to the great paul furlong who will not be playing for QPR anymore. this is a compliation of the goals he has scored at the club. ...

At 1:02 the reaction of the players and fans suggest it was an important goal. Does anyone remember what it is?

If I remember correctly it was the 3-3 draw away with Barnsley in 03/04 season, we were three down with us getting a lucky own goal for the first from Furlongs speculative cross come shot and then he bagged the other two. Could be wrong though...

Some great goals and memories. Oldham home and Wenesday away were 2 of the best atmospheres ever. Had ST's back in those days and there was a great team spirit and some good players among the squad over a few years.... Furs, Gallen, Thompson, Birch, Cook, Carlisle, ****tu, Padula, Langley, Williams (should've ****** passed in the playoff final!).... and what more can be said about Olly?!

Good times and far more enjoyable than the last 2 seasons.

You know it Del. That Oldham game will stay with me forever, crazy. Could have sworn I genuinely felt the ground rocking when Furlong scored (and I didn't weigh as much as a small commercial vehicle back then so wasn't my doing!).
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

The OLdham game and the 1-0 Chelsea win were the 2 best atmospheres iv experienced at home followed by Liverpool 3-2

Was that Barnsley on bank holiday monday? took the Missus up to York for the weekend, fook me that was an important goal because it kept us in the driving seat ahead of Bristol City going into the final 2 games

yes, but the Liverpool game was actually poisonous until Barton left the pitch..... I think Cisse goal v Stoke was incredible moment in terms of crowd reaction. .

You did feel the ground shaking Matty . That goal represented so much and the out pouring of raw emotion was incredible and I feel honoured to have been there to experience it . I didn't even know that my shins were smashed to bits until I was walking out of the ground and noticed blood on my jeans !!! Incredible atmosphere and something I just wish we could reproduce a bit more often
