I haven't a clue how the deal is broken down, but he is a Wigan player.

My guess is, that at Wigan he is on 20k (if thats what is being reported) and we go 50-50 with Wigan.

In general, loan deals work on that kind of basis.

Am I the only person who wouldn't have a problem paying a player of Ben Watsons quality 20k a week if it were true.

My Mrs is a qualified 1st year midwife and she deals with life and death stressfull situations daily and does 12 hr shifts that more as not run over with no extra pay.How much she earn? Yep £20.000.
No its not the players fault but does make me think at times.

Our average players wage is coming in near £7,200p/w. There is now 4 players taking a salary of around £50,000 a month.

Pre-Flavio and co. and since Chris Wright (YUCK) left the club no player was ever paid more than £4,500 a week (basic). This is a major oversight that supporters miss. I not pro Flavio or against but I will say our extra money as supporters that we now front doesn't come near to covering the entire squads wages for a season. For example - Let say on average the club sell 8,500 season tickets at £500 (averaged out) - That gives you £4,250,000. Well four players alone taking £50k a month each - thats £200k month = £2,400,000 over a season - over half the season ticket revenue and thats before we've spent any cash on a player!
