Yeah, but he clearly didnt want to go there. I think it was probably a case of go there and play some games, or fester at QPR doing nothing but training.... Hardly motivating. He was excellent for us when he returned and should've played far more times instead of crock Zamora. He also got over 20 goals for Cardiff i think when there 3 years ago.
I personally dont want wholesale changes. We have enough players on the payroll who've not been used much, Betty beiung one. Let them earn their corn. AS said, Mackie and Taraabt would score in this league, as would Betty, as would DJ if we keep him (Proven with Ipswich and Blackburn last year), as would AJ if ever fit again. Add to them the likes of SWP / Hoilett if they stay and there are goals throughout the front 6 positions, which is what's best for the team. Imo, if there's one main striker who scores 30 when the rest score next to none, the side can be unbalanced and everyone looks for that player, and if they are injured suddenly it's a case of who will score the goals now... Same if hes marked out of a game.
Best thing for any side is to have many players getting 10+, als Utd when they first started winning things in the 90's with Hughes, McCLaire, Sharp, Cantona, Giggs, Kanchelskis, etc etc etc.
