At this moment in time a young mangager is not the right choice for us. It would most likely turn out to be a disaster. Short term, we need a name(Harry) to attract players to our club.

Dont think he wants to be here next season if we have the same lot in the dressing room and i dont blame him.
This. We've no choice, but do we want to be here with Boswinga, Park, Mbia, Diakite, Granero, Anton, Traore et al.....????? We've got to back Harry.

be careful what you wish for... current joint favourites for next qpr manager are... zola, di matteo and mark hughes (!!!!!!!!!!).

looking between the lines, redknapp wants to move some players on... i guess one or two of these might be players that the board have previously said should stay (taarabt, traore?). having been taken for mugs by hughes and co (as well as needing to navigate the new financial fair play rules), they're probably telling arry that he needs to pay for any additions through player sales and bring the wage bill down generally, while at the same time refusing to pay up contracts. throw in the fact that our most easily sellable player managed to get himself arrested on suspicion of a very serious criminal offence, most likely putting a move in jeopardy until everything's cleared up and it's not hard to guess that there's the possibility of some tensions arising from the constraints he's working in.

Well remember what TF said 2 weeks ago........."I wouldn't rule out a mark Hughes return"

There would be uproar if that happened with a lot of fans turning on TF.

Zola won't leave Watford unless its for a top half premiership team,Hughes will NOT be coming back, but di Matteo would be an awesom choice...even with his links to the scum.
Another good choice might be poyet, especially as he's got our very own Charlie oatway as part of his coaching staff.

But what can he do when people doesn´t want to start work when they are supposed to. Di Canio has also done it this week. Solskjær did the similar thing in Norway last week...etc.etc.

Missing my point... He's been there since January to sort out discipline. Would you tell everyone your car breaks down all the time if you were trying to flog it?

No, I think he meant what he said but he's just not particularly good with the press.

Always good for a quote or sound-bite, but just not particularly clever, and likes to deflect responsibility from number 1 too when things go t|ts-up.

If he costs you certain goals.

                              He isn't that clever mate.

I think after all what's got on it's time the bloke retired.

We went as well get Venables out of retirement if we want to go this route.

Long term should be the key and I don't see what Harry Redknapp offers.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

not so sure... i think he knows what he's doing with the press. i think he's trying to get the board to clear one or two players out sharpish while they probably want to see if they can recoup a bit of their outlay.

mellow's right... redknapp's had plenty of time to sort out discipline.
