You get what you deserve, if you NEVER take responsibly as manager then questions need to be asked?

I would say I rate him as a manager but a lot of his team selections are wrong too
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

The thing is, he could go to Brighton and take them up as champions straight away...

I just don't think he was really the right man for the QPR job, and like others suggest we might be better of with a younger manager who can build a side.

A lot of people on here moaned at warnock, yet he took us up as champions! It wasn't enough for certain posters.

The manager merry go round is really doing my head in as well, if Harry stays and wants to build a team then so be it i'll back him, but if he goes then never mind what can you do.

Once we get RID of dang' Bosingwhat-not and Arry and so on...

and bring in some real deals and a new good manager, we will bounce back with TF supports

Lets just hope then that TF fronts him out rather than backing down and plowing more good money after bad. Redknapp needs to be told by the board "your the manager now manage the club or sling your hook"

'arry is such a drama queen, always talks himself up hoping to make it look like he works miracles. he is partly responsible

we need a manager who wants to stick around and help us; 'arry does not give a **** tbh

we need to drop the superstars but NOT go down the route of signing 'kick & hope' english players/staff... redknapp is just another example of this... let's get someone in who actually gets us playing football

I don't really want yet another new manager... its getting silly. lol

But if he deep down wants to go then maybe its for the best.

I guess my vote would be poyet or holloway.

"Harry's Games: Inside the Mind of Harry Redknapp" by John Crace

The author is being interviewed here by the QPR Podcast at 13m45s: https://soundcloud.com/playbackmedia...f-the-triffics

Good insight into what makes him tick and worth a listen, and quite relevant to this thread.

You may be more worried after hearing the interview though, I should warn you.

The board or Harry need to make a statement either rubbishing the claims or confirming them. One way or another this needs to be sorted this week. We've got a massive rebuilding task ahead of us and we need to have as much time available as possible, either with Harry or a new manager.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

If it is true, we need this to happen asap so that we can get a good replacement quickly and prepare well for next season. tbh the way he has recently been actiing (indifference in team selection) suggests he wants out but is trying to create excuses.

I thought from what we had read that Harry had already met with TF and discussed the players and what was going to happen next season, so I am not sure why this article says he needs to meet with TF this month.

The situation at Brighton may have changed lots of things.

If he is off somwhere I reckon it would be Everton.

This is the article regarding Poyet's suspension:

Championship side Brighton suspend manager Gus Poyet and tell him to stay away from the club pending an inquiry.

If Redknapp was to go to Brighton given this scenario, he could finish up being suspended after one game.
