Better each time he plays CB. Certainly worth a regular place there next season. Clint could also put in a turn. Samba's off. He's done fu@k all since he's been here. He and Nedum are both right sided which could pose a problem. That's why Clint would be very useful. As sh1t as we've been the CB pairing of Clint and Nedum has been very solid (the first twenty seconds of the Arsenal game aside....).

Used to be until he had umpteen hamstring injuries and that is why he was moved to right back at city

Why would he be less susceptible to hamstring injuries at right back than he would be at centre half?

He wouldn't but for anybody who has played at both positions it is much harder with turning and twisting at centre back than it is tracking somebody's run down the line. You get far less exposed at right back

FFS so this is where we are at is it?

Neds captain material, build a team around him, he's solid as a rock Yadda Yadda yah

This is the player who I've watched closely and he cannot trap a ball, read the game, pass or judge a header
I wasn't there yesterday but if he's suddenly found form to justify a £3.5M fee and north of £50k a week then grrrrrreat. It's about time

Saying all that at least he gives 100% and he could be a player for us next season
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

Clearly you were not there yesterday as he done everything you have just criticised him for not doing. At a push give you trapping a ball as I have seen a few bounce off him but reading the game and heading not sure how you can muller him for that.

Our upturn in form in Jan coincided with him at right back and Fabio left back, for some reason Harry changed this and reverted back to Bosingwa and Traore and we appeared to struggle from that point forward

Exactly, his best position will be right back, you get away with a lot more in that position than you do at CB

Wonder if we could get Grant Hanley from Blackburn, cant imagine he would want to stay there. Top CB back but think Man U were sniffing around him at one point.

He's never a right back. No finesse going forward. Can't pass or cross, so a liability on that position. Given time he could play CB in the championship.

I agree Neddy's not the quickest on the turn but when he sprints he's quick
                        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

I was saying that to a mate earlier today.....gotta be one of the best young British centre halfs outside of the prem!

That's fine but the time he turns the striker will be gone

Would be good for the Championship he is now settled after the death of his mom.
