It's funny how people always compare where we are now to 2 years ago. Why not go to 4 years ago when the club finished about 11th under Olly. We have more money now but can't seem to improve on it. We have a bigger squad and more money now but nearly half the clubs finished higher than us last season. At the moment most of the clubs are higher than us. Also wasn't the premis of us paying higher ticket prices that we have a better value product and would be challenging for promotion.

It's funny how people mention that we need to increase prices as the club you can't expect the club to survive on the lower prices and we wouldn't be able to afford better players the club needs to go forward. However they fail to mention the waste of money on acquiring an oversized squad, getting the wrong players, having unwanted players on long contracts, paying out on managers contracts, agents fees, a big screen, refurbishment of executive boxes, changing the badge and giving out interest free loans. Also forget to mention how teams with seemingly smaller budgets than us do a much better job, have cheaper season tickets, have smaller and better quality squad, have a bettter value product and challenge for promotion.

It's funny how people calling others whingers and moaners forget they spent 2 1/2 to 2 months last season campaining to get the manager out whilst everyone else was being positive. Also forget how the deceived a lot of people on transfer deadline day by stating that we were bidding for players that we actually weren't and then turn around and tell others to be patient when the truth comes out.

Aministration looming and no watrbs to vent our angst. Paul furlong and kevin gallen in harmony. Tell you what give me 2009/10 with this squad and all the hope and ambition that goes with it anytime!

We had the right players in the right positions that made us a better team, made us a better club and ultimately better fans. With all the money we have at our disposal now we have wasted a great opportunity to improve on that. Which has resulted in us having a bigger squad that doesn't perform any better, makes our club a laughing stock and has ultimately distanced and split fans, bringing the worst out of us.
