  • TF in talks with RyanAir

I was chatting to my mate on the estate who's in the know with people at the show (HQ) yesterday, who told me that TF and top man from Ryanair are having talks about a possible long term sponsorship and any new stadium naming rights deal and that because their airline companies were not in direct competition there was a good opportunity for them to work together. Should the idea take off my mate says that Ryanair would have a major input in the marketing and financial operations in any new venture. Possible ideas include: Flogging a limited amount of cheap tickets 6 months in advance with people have to ring a premium rate number (£5 per minute) and with customers having to go through 21 different options before speaking to an operator, charges for bring a bag to a game (£10-£12.50 per bag), charges for using the toilets (£5 for a slash - £15 for anything else, additional cost for using extra water), Ryanair style charges for food & drink and a total lack of customer service.

!!!!Word of warning!!!! When my mate told me this he was on his 4th can of Super T and had already done a quarter OZ of his finest home grown.

Never flown with them, but from what I've heard, Ryanair are a cheapskate outfit, run by a modern day Ebeneezer Scrooge, that will no doubt one day expect passengers to fly their own planes, just to make multi-billion corporation Ryanair 'cost savings.'

Still, if Ryanair want to throw £milions at Queen's Park Rangers, who are we to stop them?

IMHO we should be the AirAsia Satdium. Fernandes' wealth has a huge impact to QPR so I see no reason why other company's should benefit before our owners
        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Cant tell if this is a joke thread or not.

I've only good things to say about Ryanair, never paid a penny more then the advertised price. Read the small print folks, everything you pay for is stated on the booking page.

You will have to check in for the match at least 2 hours ahead of the kick-off. Only then you can print off your stadium pass, electronic tickets not accepted. If you don't have a printer, you can use the self-service kiosk and pay 60 pounds for the last minute printout on top of the ticket price. And the goalscoring music will be changed to that annoying "RyanAir has landed on time again" trumpet from hell sound, repeated 15 times.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

The other thing my mate told me was that when paying for tickets by card there would be an extra charge if you don't use the right type of card (£25 per ticket) and a booking fee of £12.50. Remember there only talking.

I thought it could have been true until I read this bit. "Flogging a limited amount of cheap tickets 6 months in advance with people have to ring a premium rate number (£5 per minute) and with customers having to go through 21 different options before speaking to an operator, charges for bring a bag to a game (£10-£12.50 per bag), charges for using the toilets (£5 for a slash - £15 for anything else, additional cost for using extra water), Ryanair style charges for food & drink and a total lack of customer service."

That tell's you it's rubbish and if Tony wanted to charge our fans more, he would have done with next years season tickets.

They wouldn't be talking in public and they would never discuss a call being £5 a minute. That would be a world record right?
