Who exactly have either of these satements helped? Has he got an agenda to pressure the owners into giving him what he wants?

Harry would have been far smarter to keep his mouth shout on both counts and have a good chat with Tony Fernandes behind the scenes. The scenario that we have now is the whole world knows that we have players on the payroll that have bad attitudes and we want rid of them, this has significantly damaged any bargaining power that we had when it comes to offloading them. Also other clubs and agents know that if we want to keep Harry then the owners are under pressure to sell, which again reduces our bargaining power.

This type of thing isn't rocket science, you wouldn't see Ferguson, Moyes or Wenger making mistakes in the media like this. Given Harry's experience and no doubt hefty salary we should expect better in my opinion!
Very good post mate, spot on

Are you saying that Harry should be fined for a month?

If Harry is going to leave, he needs to do it now and give our board the chance to find someone and quick.

If Harry goes the next manager needs to be a jock.

I reckon the reason Scots make such good managers is because they are not scared to tell prima donnas where to get off.
Harry needs to let Joe Jordon off the leash

Harry Redknapp is not a long term prospects for Qpr, he's is 66 going on 67. We will need a younger boss one day.

I know many wont agree but i be happy to see him go a long with many others players and start again from scratch!

Stop throwing money at overated players AND start investing in young players at the academy ... Southampton are a club i admire at the minute

I agree. The problam is he is a press favourite and media darling for the exact same reason, ie, he's not that bright, and says stupid things when he shouldn't, but the press lap it up. This is just the latest raft of comments you shake your head at. It all started when he basically publically stated what Bosingwa was earning ffs, and then made statements about our players earning more than top earners at Spurs etc.

He needs to shut the F$%k up and get on with the job he's paid incredibly well for, yet has been under performing in. I'm sure an independant performance review would identify many faults on his part, something which he tries ever so hard to deflect and uses his pals at the press to push the notion that all the issues at the club are the fault of others.

Spot on. He is not doing the club any good the way he is behaving. He is making it harder to sell the ones we wan`t to go and are also doing damage to the rests belief on their ability. What if he can`t offload some of the players? What will his statements then do to the teams morale? Harry is acting in the best interest of Harry Redknapp. Very, very unprofessional.

Well I think really deep down harry is shocked he finished last. He's shocked at the players attitude, shocked at the performances and he truly did believe that he could keep us up. Remember it has hurt his reputation as well and he's being honest that the squad and certain indiviuals wasn't good enough which lets be honest wasn't.

Remember it's hard to motivate a team that hasn't won a match for 15 games and were rock bottom the whole season.

At least now he can ship out the rubbish and start again which he will do and we need to back him.

Harry is far too old and far too old school.

I want a younger manager who understands modern tactics and gets the team playing football, dont give a toss if it takes three years to get back up. This was always a football club first and foremost, we need rediscover the ethos that took us to our highest ever league position.

He came in thinking he could keep them up, only to discover what lousy attitudes some had.
However, he is supposed to be good at motivating players, but his team selections and comments about players have not helped.
In truth, having witnessed his management at QPR, I don’t really care if he stays or goes. I also agree, that given his age, QPR should be looking at a appointing someone younger.

These players have been so bad and the dressing room so divided that i honestly think Harry cant be judged to harshly on the performances since he took over. I think ANY manager would have struggled to get decent performances out of the individuals he had available. Lets judge him next season when hopefully we have got rid of the majority of these wasters.

I don't often agree with you vblock but I couldn't have put that better myself.

I agree with some of your point but his team selections haven't been good.

He also back tracks far too often. I mean Bosingwa after what had gone on, should never of played for this football club.

I also blame him for the poor discipline he keeps talking about. If a strong personality came in he would of either ditched these players or put a stop to it. No Harry hasn't impressed but we're stuck with him so unfortunately it looks like I'll have to continue to back him but a change in management, new ideas and new playing staff would of been the way to go.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
