  • Its over at last

Thanks God this season is over. Never in my life I remember such a disastrous season. (I've supported QPR since 1965). To add insult, I have never remember the club being so ambitiuos. We spent big, however we failed larger! In my opinion, too many people in the club were new, without any pre-association. And it showed. Now that we are back in the CCC, we should really go to basics. To bring players that want to be successful with Rangers. Not older then 25 years, are hard workers and with a good attitude.
To do this, we should look at the lower divisions. If TF is ready to wait two to three years to get back to the Premier, then this is the only way. Forget about players with Premeir experience, but have passed their best. That was a policy that made QPR successful in the past. A policy that gave us the likes of Seaman, Sinton, Ferdinand, Peacock, Impey, Sinclair and so many more. Do it simple....do it the Rangers way!

I'm dreading next season. At least we had the excuse of the "It's the EPL". We will serve up the same old pshiit in the championship because the club is riddled with cancer and we'll be following Wolves. I give Harry 8 games next season and he'll be gone.

Back in the day we used to pick up unknown players that had potential, then turned them into useful players. Nowadays, so many clubs are chasing the finished article and unfortunately we ended up with a load of has-beens.

To be fair to Harry though, he's gone to see a number of championship games lately and must be building up an idea of what's going to be needed in the championship. I only hope for all of our sakes he gets this right.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

The team should be a mix of young players as majority with couple of experienced players 30+ imho.

I would think that when the final whistle went yesterday there was a collective sigh of relief among us. What a poxy season that was!

The rebuilding starts today. I hope HR is informing players and agents who he wants to go. It'll give the agents time to hawk their players to other mugs, I mean other clubs. We want the wasters out ASAP.

The 2012/13 season. Not one of our finest!

Been going to Loftus Rd since I was 10, and I can't honestly say that I've known more soul-destroying years, than the two just gone.
Very happy to draw the line under this unhappy period, very happy indeed.
