  • Did anyone see the way this season would go at the start?

Personally thought we were guaranteed a top half finish :/

I thought it would be touch and go and we would in the end stay safe. I thought we'd end in 15th place.

no way... thought we'd be somewhere in the middle, safe with a couple of weeks to go.

it's been 9 months of almost constant crushing disappointment.

Swap us and West Ham's position, thats how I thought it'd end up. Disaster but looking forward to a big reshuffle.

Massive credit to West Ham. I too thought we'd be safe and finish about 14th.

after that first game against Swansea i was thinking that it was only some kind of accident. Like a bad day at the office, nothing too serious. How wrong i was

The moment we let in 5 goals v. Swansea at home first game of the season I got a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. It went this afternoon.

This time last year, I could only see a brighter future for QPR in the premier league.
Never in a million years did I think we would get relegated this season.

I think I said I'd be happy with 17th, but thought top half wasn't entirely out of the question. To be fair we'd not done too badly towards the end of last season and Hughes had taken Fulham to 8th the season before.

With MH getting a new fresh start... thought we'd be well above the bottom 3.

Problem is we didn't buy enough players that were hungry.

Can't see how people blame the board, they backed the manager's with every last penny, even went out to get the deal done.

Harry said he had no strikers?

What are Betty and DJ then?

Betty was on form and DJ scored plenty of goals for Blackpool in the EPL.

Why play a player that's injured and can't score?

I was amazed by the pre season level of optimism on here, we were very poor before the humiliation began on day one.

When Hughes eventually went, I mentioned a couple of names as serious, long term replacements. Between the two of them they've got to one Champions league final and won an FA cup. I think Harry has been poor for us, he just seems so old and disinterested. He really isn't a reconstruction manager, generally speaking you cant make money out of the kids.

                          Agree with all that, MYU.
Why persist with unfit Zamora? That's a question I would put to Harry, as well.

I also thought we would finish top half. Was really excited when we signed Hoilett/Diakite and expected Cisse to be one of the top scorers after last season.

Should have sacked Hughes after the Swansea home game. 5-0. Writing was on the wall then. Remember a few seasons back when Norwich got hammered 7-1 by Colchester on the first game of the season. Their board didn't muck around and sacked Brian Gunn and brought in Paul Lambert then went up as champs. They didn't hang around and reaped the benefits...
